Bodies in Residency is now on!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Bodies in Residency program, as a part of a three-year feminist research-creation collaboration between OCAD University’s game:play Lab, Social Body Lab, and DMG. This initiative brings together academics, cultural professionals, and community experts to collectively generate knowledge aimed at promoting more inclusive design approaches centered around the human body for immersive interfaces. Bodies in Play explores the intersection of wearable technology and Extended Reality (XR) through a series of game jams and a residency program. The program’s goal is to facilitate meaningful equity within the creative technology space through participatory, feminist research-creation in embodied interfaces.
