Are you a maker, artist, designer, or developer curious about what it means to create games and playful media sustainably?
Join us at 49 McCaul St. Toronto/Butterfield Park for a two-day Solar Playshop (June 6-7th 2026, 10 AM – 6 PM) where we’ll make and think together using solar-energy as both a technology and a creative prompt – and ask what genuinely sustainable creative practice looks like in practice.
Activities will include hands-on making with low-power and open-source tools, group discussion, and informal peer exchange. No specific (high or low) level of technical expertise is required – curiosity and an interest in questions of energy, sustainability, and creative practice are welcome.
Please note space is limited. Invited participants will receive a confirmation invitation for the workshop by June 5th.
Limited spots remain here: https://luma.com/tocw-guna
This Playshop is brought to you by OCAD University’s game:play Lab and the Global Centre for Climate Action, with the generous support of BMO.
